It’s been known for years that high performing organisations tend to have an engaged workforce. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been quite so clear what an engaged workforce is, as there are well over fifty various definitions. However, I was pointed in the direction of a report to government by David MacLeod and Nita Clarke entitled Engaging for Success: enhancing performance through employee engagement, which is really helpful.
This report is full of useful case studies, data and practical views and as many people as possible should read it. My only word of warning – read it in bytes, rather than wading through it like a book. As it says the text may be reproduced free of charge in any format or medium, providing it is reproduced accurately and not used in a misleading context, we thought it would be a good idea to give you the opportunity of downloading a free copy of it as a PDF via our other other website at www.performancelandscape.co.uk – Engaging for Success.
